Ha! I used to live in Boston, where I worked for a Jewish organization. There is a whole category of older Jews called the Snowbirds, who pretty much spend the winter in Florida. There's even a train that you can board with your car that'll take you most of the way there. So I don't know what percentage of people do that, but definitely enough to acquire a term.
